Spiritual Care
At Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, care addresses physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve, so chaplains are a valuable member of our multidisciplinary care team.
Chaplains are available to assist people of all faiths at any of our hospital locations. Simply ask any patient care staff member to contact a chaplain for you.
We respect the religious traditions and practices of all faiths and are committed to supporting each patient’s specific needs. Our chaplains are often available to:
- Visit with patients and family members – Chaplains can provide comfort and support for patients and families. Whether you need someone to listen, offer advice or encouragement, or join you in prayer, we can help.
- Offer assistance and resources – Our chaplains can provide devotional materials and help with advance directives and other difficult matters.
- Coordinate with your clergy – If you would like to have someone from your faith tradition visit you or a family member in the hospital, we are available to help arrange it.
Whether you are anxious about your own or a loved one’s health, need help sorting through your feelings, or have lost someone close to you, our chaplains are available to help.
