Poplar Bluff Ushers in Next Era of Excellence in Healthcare with New CEO

POPLAR BLUFF, Missouri – November 30, 2017-Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center has appointed Bryan S.
Bateman, MHA, as Chief Executive Officer effective Dec. 18, 2017.
Bateman brings more than three decades of invaluable experience in healthcare, business and
communications to Poplar Bluff Regional, including a proven track record of strong hospital leadership. He
most recently served as CEO at CHRISTUS Lake Area Hospital in Louisiana.

reputation for strong community partnerships,” said Bateman. “The opportunity to join such an outstanding

Bateman is a native of Texas who received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and his
Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. He and his wife Lisa have two sons.

Bateman fills the position following CEO Larry Rodgers, who announced his resignation last month.
