PBRMC’S Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center Recognized With National President's Circle Award

POPLAR BLUFF, MO – Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center received the 2022 President’s Circle Award, a prestigious award for achieving outstanding clinical and operational excellence.
This award was given by Healogics, the nation's largest provider of advanced wound care services, for their positive outcomes and quality of care. Out of 600 wound centers, 31 were awarded the President’s Circle.
"We are so honored to be chosen as one of this year's recipients of the President's Circle Award. This is the first year our clinic has been chosen for such a prestigious award. We have an amazing team of wound care specialists who always have a patient centered approach to wound care. We are so excited for what the future holds and remain committed to providing our community with evidence based advanced wound care services," said Megan Campbell, Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center program director.
PBRMC’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center is a member of the Healogics network of more than 600 Wound Care Centers® and offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds that have not healed in a reasonable amount of time.
“The Wound Center staff are experts in wound healing and they constantly strive to keep up with the latest treatments. They truly put the patient first and provide the best care possible. PBRMC is honored the Wound Center has received this National President's Circle Award,” COO Steve Nelson said.
Advanced wound care modalities provided by our wound care experts include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies. The Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which works by surrounding the patient with 100 percent oxygen to help progress the healing of the wound.
