New Family Nurse Practitioner Joins Malden Medical Center

Family Nurse Practitioner Jennetta Stearns, MSN, FNP, has joined the medical staff of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Rural Health Clinics and will be located at the Malden Medical Center.
Stearns graduated from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN, with her MSN. She completed her clinical rotation at the Dexter Medical Center and “fell in love with patient care in a primary care setting.” Stearns added she is thrilled to start in the clinic setting where “care is always patient-centered and individualized.”
Stearns will join the practice at the Malden Medical Center and is accepting new patients. Her areas of expertise include sick visits, annual preventive wellness visits, minor procedures, immunizations, physicals, pre-employment testing and school screenings, coordination of care, managing chronic conditions, referrals to specialists and EKGs.
“Jennetta brings several years of dedicated nursing services experience to our team as our new nurse practitioner provider in our Malden clinic. Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, Stearns loves giving back to her community. She lives in the area with her husband and keeps busy with two boys and three dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading mystery novels, spending weekends at her cabin, traveling, and watching wildlife.
