Jeffrey Thomas Named Chief Financial Officer of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center

POPLAR BLUFF, MO – Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center (PBRMC) is pleased to announce Jeffrey Thomas as the new chief financial officer (CFO), effective Monday, August 22.

Outside of his financial expertise, Jeff is a mission-driven leader who emphasizes our ability to get people well and live healthier.”
With more than 30 years in the healthcare finance industry, Thomas has improved revenue performance, executed financial turnaround, identified opportunities to reduce costs, overseen 3K+ employees and developed strategic financial plans supporting business expansions.
In addition to his most recent position as CFO in Owensboro, KY, Thomas has also held the CFO position at systems in Cleveland, Tennessee; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Clarksville, Tennessee; Marion, Illinois; and Bennettsville, South Carolina. His 30-year healthcare career also includes stops in Ohio and Texas.

He graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio. Thomas has three grown daughters with families of their own. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping and music. Currently, he’s taking guitar lessons to expand his love of music.
