Poplar Bluff Regional’s Medical Staff Give Back on Doctors’ Day

POPLAR BLUFF, MO, March 30, 2023 -- To celebrate National Doctors’ Day this year, Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center (PBRMC) is making a charitable contribution(s) to three local nonprofit organizations in honor of its medical staff.

The day is set aside to recognize physicians for their skills, sacrifice and service to the community. But true to their ongoing care and compassion toward others, PBRMC physicians decided to select nonprofit organizations to receive donations in lieu of tokens of gratitude PBRMC typically provides them in honor of Doctors’ Day.

In various ways, the chosen organizations are instrumental in promoting the health and vitality of our community.

“The ongoing commitment to our community from our physicians, by donating to these very deserving not for profits, is just another way they continually give back beyond the great patient care they give daily,” said Rick Naegler CEO.

These following organizations will receive a portion of the donations totaling more than $8,100 on behalf of Poplar Bluff Regional’s Medical Staff:

The Boys & Girls Club of the Heartland
Haven House, Inc.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
