Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Joins the Medical Staff at Regional Physician Services

POPLAR BLUFF, MO - Orthopedic spine surgeon, Jonathan Workman, D.O., has joined the medical staff of Regional Physician Services.

Workman previously worked as an orthopedic spine surgeon at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL, and at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL.

Born and raised in Missouri, Workman graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Evangel University in Springfield, MO. He went on to complete his naster’s degree from Des Moines University-College of Health Sciences and completed medical school at Des Moines University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. He completed his residency with Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO, along with a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery at the Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, MN.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending it with family, outdoor activities, and drawing.

Workman is accepting new patients and will be located in Regional Physician Services’ Orthopedic Clinic. Areas of care include both complex and simple spine-related cases. His focus is on adult-related conditions involving the cervical and lumbar spine, specifically, lumbar fusion procedures, cervical and lumbar discectomy, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, cervical laminoforaminotomy, cervical disc replacement, kyphoplasty, posterior cervical fusion procedures, transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion, lumbar laminectomy, revision spinal surgery, and minimally invasive spinal surgery.
