POPLAR BLUFF, MO -- Family Nurse Practitioner Amy Cluck, FNP, has joined the medical staff of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Rural Health Clinics and will be located at the Malden Medical Center.
“Caring for people is my passion! I have worked in a clinical setting, as well as hospice and long-term care, and love every aspect of healthcare, caring for people in their time of need,” Cluck said. “Providing care for my local community where my daughters are growing up is a dream come true.”
Cluck graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago, IL, with her Master of Science in nursing. She’s been a nurse for 17 years and began her career at Malden Medical Center as an LPN working with Dr. Hunt. She worked through school as she continued her nursing career in various nursing centers, SEMO Health Network, and Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Cluck will join the practice at the Malden Medical Center and is accepting new patients. Her care includes sick visits, annual preventive wellness visits, minor procedures, immunizations, physicals, pre-employment testing and school screenings, coordination of care, managing chronic conditions, referrals to specialists and EKGs.
“Patient-centered care is important and taking time to sit and listen to my patients is the backbone of my care philosophy, which involves making sure the patient and/or family are involved in the decision-making for their overall health and wellness,” Cluck added.
Cluck and her husband live in the Malden area and have four children. In her spare time, she is involved in her kids’ sports and loves to garden and go fishing. She also likes to volunteer in the community.
"We are excited to welcome Amy to our Malden healthcare clinic team. Amy’s knowledge and dedication will greatly enhance the quality of care we provide and we look forward to the positive impact they will have on our community's health,” said CEO Clyde Wood.
Cluck will maintain office hours Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. She is currently accepting new patients. For more information, visit www.regionalpysisicanservices.com and click on “Providers” or call (573) 276-3873.
